A quick, calming exercise to help you reset anytime.

Use this simple guided breathing tool to slow your thoughts, relax your body, and bring yourself back into the moment. Just follow the steps below.

1. Inhale

Breathe in slowly through your nose for 4 seconds

2. Hold

Hold your breath gently for 2 seconds

3. Exhale

Breathe out through your mouth for 6 seconds

4. Repeat

Try this loop 3-5 times until your body feels lighter

1. Notice 5 things you can see.

Look around and quietly name them in your head.

2. Notice 4 things you can feel.

Your clothing, the chair, your feet on the floor, etc

3. Notice 3 things you can hear.

Background sounds, voices, air movement, anything.

4. Notice 2 things you can smell.

If you can’t smell anything, think of two random scents

5. Notice 1 thing you can taste.

A lingering taste, gum, or simply a sip of water.
